Helen (Hruska) Simak

Helen Simak, of West Mifflin, passed peacefully on September 13, 2021, at the age of 95. She is survived by her children, Robert (Roberta) Simak, Gary (Barbara) Simak, Lorrie (Dennis) Axelson, and Cheryl (John) Creighton; grandchildren, Robert, Dana, Nicole, Kari, Kyle, Colin, John, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Lucas, Kaleigh, Isabella, Cecelia, Samantha, and Lincoln; and siblings, John and Albert Hruska. She was welcomed home by her late husband, Aloysius Simak; parents, Andrew and Susan (Balint) Hruska; siblings, Ann Beerbower, Mary Voelker, and Andrew Hruska; and great-grandson, Xavier. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 15, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 16, 10 AM, at Resurrection Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Homeville.
