James W. Hovan

James W. Hovan, 65, of Dravosburg, passed away on February 12, 2023. He was the loving husband of 30 years to Lorena “Lori” (Collins) Hovan; and the loving brother of Debbie Negley and Cindy Unitas. He is survived by many nieces and nephews along with his furry friends, Johnny and Ellie Mae. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, the late Melvin and Donna Mae (Pletz) Hovan; and his brother the late Bruce Hovan.

Jim worked diligently throughout his career as a stationary engineer for US Steel at the Edgar Thompson Plant in Braddock, PA. Beyond work, Jim was a dedicated family man and the best parts of his days were spending time with those close to him. Jim was passionate about cars and enjoyed going to the various car cruises in the area.

Family and friends to be received on Wednesday, February 15 from 2 – 7 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, 15120. A Blessing Service will take place the following day at the funeral home on Thursday, February 16 at 11 AM.
