James A. Kraeuter

James A. Kraeuter, of West Mifflin, passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 63.

He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Steiner) Kraeuter; loving father of Kayla, Klay, and Kody Kraeuter; son of the late Warren and Celine (Ruffing) Kraeuter; and brother of Jack (Kristine) Kraeuter, Kim (Marc) Roberts, and Chuck (Dawn Dzubay) Kraeuter; also survived by his extended family, and many dear friends. Jim's family would like to thank his close group of friends, especially Bob K., Dave T., Bob B., and Denis P., who were there for and with him and his family during his heroic battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was a graduate of IUP and former Technical Software Manager with Sage. A devoted and die-hard Steelers fan, Jim rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team and especially enjoyed tailgate parties. He was an avid golfer, loved spending time by the pool with family and friends, and treasured traveling with his loved ones while creating lasting memories wherever they went.

Though our hearts are broken, we are all forever grateful for the love, laughter, strength, and memories he leaves behind. His presence made this world better. He will be deeply missed every single day and loved forever by all who knew him.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 7, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 10 AM, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
