James R. Stefanchin

James R. Stefanchin, of West Mifflin, passed away while surrounded by his beloved family on March 2, 2025, at the age of 77. He was the loving husband of 57 years of Rene A. (Berko) Stefanchin; cherished father of Jim (Asia) Stefanchin, Michael (Melissa) Stefanchin, and Sarah (Damon) Clayton; adoring grandfather of Patryk, Lucy, and Jasia, Jenna and Kayla, Cameron, Kayden, and Ashton, and Liam and Colbie; brother of Lynda (the late Terry) Rager; also survived by extended family members and several close friends. 

Jimmy was a proud US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran.  He was also a member of the American Legion White Oak Post 701, Freemasons, Shriners, and Clairton Sportsmen's Club. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending his time at the cabin, whether it was riding his quad, hunting, or fishing. He always looked forward to planning the next cruising adventure with Rene. Being a professional driver, he was always happy behind the wheel, no matter where the road would take him. He loved a loaded Bloody Mary and his daily stops for lottery tickets where he was always sure "his ship would come in." Most of all, he enjoyed being on the sidelines to watch his grandchildren play sports through the years.

Family and friends to be received on Saturday, March 8, 12 noon - 3 PM the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, where a Memorial Service will follow at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pittsburgh Fisher House.
