Jean Ann (Nemeth) Sitko

Jean A. Sitko, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2023, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of 61 years of the late Thomas George Sitko; loving mother of Deborah Ann and Michael Thomas Sitko; daughter of the late William Nemeth and Elizabeth (Kosko) Marshall; sister of the late Lillian Vasko and William R. Nemeth; aunt of Keith Jenkins and Allison Koehler. She is also survived by her long time friend of 71 years, Maureen Succop.

Jean was a member of Holy Spirit Church of the Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, West Mifflin. She worked at Gee Bees, Montgomery Wards, and retired from TJ Maxx after 16 years. She enjoyed listening to her cassettes, CDs, and taking walks in South Park. She also enjoyed dancing to Polka bands, in which some her late husband, Tom, played the banjo.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 27, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Pennsylvania 15120. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 28th, 10:00 AM, at the St. Thomas à Becket Church, Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Jefferson Hills. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, North Versailles.
