Jeffrey G. Steimer

Jeffrey G. Steimer, 70, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024.

Jeff was born on June 1, 1954, in McKeesport, PA. He was the son of the late Robert and Dolores (Kathy) Steimer and is survived by his beloved wife, Lee Ann; son, Jacob; daughter, Liza; son-in-law, William Bohmer; and grandchildren, Troy, Madeline, and Kyla Bohmer.

He was a 1972 graduate of West Mifflin North High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in civil engineering. He enjoyed a long and rewarding career, working in various positions that took him around the world. His career eventually led him to Texas, where he retired in 2015. He loved the outdoors, often spending time hunting at the family farm and fly fishing at his camp in Potter County. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports, being a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, whether it was vacationing on the beach, taking road trips, having a drink with his buddies, or being with his grandchildren. He always took care of his family, doing everything he could to support them and ensure their happiness.

Family and friends will be received at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 on Sunday, July 28, 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 29, 10 AM, at the St. Agnes Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, West Mifflin. Please meet at church. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, or to the University of Pittsburgh.
