Jere G. (Gillespie) Harvey

Jere G. Harvey, of Bethel Park, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023, at the age of 88.

She was the daughter of the late William H. and Ada W. (Walker) Gillespie; beloved wife of 43 years of the late Albert W. Harvey; mother of Wayne (Michele) Harvey, Candace (Art) Ingles, and Dave (Kimm) Harvey; grandmother of Justin Harvey, Lucas Harvey and Anna Doyle, Brian Ingles, Ben Ingles, and Daniel Ingles, and Tyler Harvey, Alyce Harvey, Asa Harvey and Shelby Harvey. Jere was the great-grandmother to 17 wonderful children and she is survived by her sisters, Judy Angelo and Jean Gillespie.

Jere was a devoted wife, an exceptional mom, an indomitable painter, and a determined business owner. She was kind, creative, resilient, thoughtful and dedicated to a lifetime of learning. Jere will be most remembered as a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who shared her life and love in a manner that exalted her Savior. And now she has finished her race.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 1, 2-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. Her funeral services the following day will be private. She will join her beloved husband, Albert, at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
