JoAnne (Egan) Keenan

JoAnne Keenan, a longtime resident of Homestead and Munhall, passed on January 28, 2021, at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Keenan; daughter of the late Earl Egan and Julia (Bickness) Egan; step-daughter of Charles Bolland; sister of Julia (William) Fearon, James (Cathy) Bolland, and the late Joyce (George) Kemp and Carol (Paul) Egan; aunt of Janet Kemp, George Kemp, Jr., Pamela Kemp, Christian (Candice) Kemp, and Carol (Scot) Leff; great-aunt of Heather Conklin and Shana Leff, as well as other great-nieces and great-nephews. 

JoAnne was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. She was a former employee of the Jack's Variety store in Homestead and was the former owner of the High Level Lounge in Homestead. 

A private graveside service officiated by Fr. Mike Conway will be held at the Smithfield Cemetery, Pittsburgh, where she will join her husband, Daniel.
