John J. Bartek Jr.

John J. Bartek Jr. of White Oak, formally of Munhall, passed away at his home on September 20, 2024 at the age of 81. He was the loving husband of fifty-five years to the late Nancy (Carney) Bartek; the son of the late John J. and the late Frances (Radziwon) Bartek; the father of the late John R. Bartek (his wife Deborah survives); the grandfather of Payton and McKenzie Bartek; the uncle of Debora (Kevin) Carney and their daughter, Sandy; and Shelly (Tony) Mamaeff and their children, Jay and Becca.

John worked as an operations supervisor in the computer industry for much of his life. He was an avid Steelers fan and looked forward to watching his favorite football team play every Sunday when the season started. John enjoyed reading to relax and especially loved the books written by James Patterson.

Friends and family to be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM. A funeral mass will take place the following day on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 1 St. Therese Court, Munhall, 15120. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
