John D. Kostrub

John D. Kostrub of West Mifflin passed on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the age of 88.  Beloved and devoted husband of Vicky.  Cousin of Edward Ferchak, Sr.  Dear friend of Brad Matta and Joe and Peg Barron.  John was a retired steelworker from the US Steel Homestead Works where he was the former vice-president of the Steelworkers Union.  He also served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a very active member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Homestead.  A Blessing service will take place Tuesday June 8th, 10 AM at St Maximilian Kolbe Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish 363 W. 11th ave, Homestead PA 15120.  Arrangements entrusted to Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., Munhall, PA.
