John M. Tomko

John M. Tomko, of Whitaker, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 76. He was the loving father of Thomas (Kelley) Tomko and Jodi (Todd) Bowlus; cherished grandfather of Becca and Sammie, and Cameron, Tyler, and Brody; son of the late John C. and Helen (Toth) Tomko; and brother of Janet (Mark) Winters.

John was a lifelong member of the St. Rita Church of the Thomas the Apostle Parish and the Whitaker Volunteer Fire Department. He was formerly employed by UPS and the Locust Grove Nursing Home.

A passionate race car enthusiast, John was proud to be part of the “One More Time” racing team. He also enjoyed spending time in his garage, where he loved to fiddle and tinker with his projects.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 12, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 13, 10 AM, at the St. Rita Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.
