Joseph D. McShane

Joseph D. McShane, of Munhall, peacefully passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 89.

He was the beloved husband of 68 years of Carol L. (Cregan) McShane; loving father of  Jeff and Dale (Marianne) McShane; adoring Pap of Ciara (Shane), Dustin (Sarah), Shannon (Paul), and Sean (Natalie); great-grandfather of Julian, Damian, and Haidan; son of the late Joseph and Hazel (Portzer) McShane; brother of the late Dolores Davis and Eileen Green.

Joe worked as a tool dresser for Mesta Machine, and was a former employee of the Allegheny Health Network. He was an extremely hard worker, and in his spare time he loved to fish and collect military memorabilia. He most cherished spending time with his beloved family.

Per his wishes, there will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 10 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
