Joseph C. Takacs

Joseph C. Takacs, of West Mifflin, passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mathilda (Olack) Takacs; special uncle to Bridget, Brent, and Bailee; also survived by cousins, Bob Lucas, Chuck Lucas, Mary Ann Rafalski, Jack Kapsar, Henry Mikula, Lois McManis, Bobby Olack, Sylvia Olack, Joan Kraft, Ann Marie Wargo, Kathy Smalstig, Donna Donaldson, Robert Horgos, Debbie Kwolek, Donald Prakop, and Gene Horgos.

Joe had been a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity. He was an equipment planner with UPMC.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 7, 10 AM, at Resurrection Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, West Mifflin. Interment will follow at St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, West Mifflin. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to a charity of your choice.
