AKERS, JUNE T. (Shamlin) (Grzyb) of Munhall, formerly of Waldorf, MD on Easter Sunday April 12, 2020. Wife of the late Robert Grzyb and the late Joseph Akers. Daughter of the late John and Elsie (Stock) Shamlin. Beloved mother of Kathleen (William) McLaughlin, Michael (Linda) Grzyb, Bruce Grzyb, Paul (Pamela) Grzyb and Katie (Michael) Graham. Stepmother of Joseph and Michael Akers. Sister of Sandy Palmieri and the late Richard and John Shamlin and Catherine Streiner. Grandmother of William (Alicia) McLaughlin, Robert (Angela) McLaughlin, Shawn, Brian, Richard, Ryan, Emilee, Sarah and Ethan Grzyb and Aidan, Riley and McKenna Graham. Great grandmother of Zoe, Sydney, Aiden and Landen McLaughlin. June was a former daycare provider at her home in Waldorf, MD. She was loved by all and was very instrumental in many childrens' lives. Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., Munhall, PA.
