Karen A. (Hooten) Waldron

Karen A. Waldron, of Munhall, passed away peacefully in the warm embrace of her family on August 26, 2025, at the age of 62.

She was the beloved wife of 39 years of John R. "Jack" Waldron; loving mother of Lindsay (Chris) Waldron-Burke, Rachel (Todd) Pollack, and Emily Waldron; adoring Grandma of Lilah Straight and Alexis Pollack; daughter of the late William H. and Lois A. (Hutter) Hooten; sister of Elizabeth Bond, William Hooten, and Chris Hooten; also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Karen was a member of the Legion of Mary, and worked as a Practice Manager for UPMC's Ear, Nose, and Throat department for 20 years.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 28, 4-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 29, 12 Noon, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
