Leroy N. "L.R" Zak

Of West Mifflin, on April 23, 2026, age 87.  Born in Homestead, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Spivak) Zak; beloved husband of 62 years of the late Justine “Tina” (Chontos) Zak; father of Norman Zak, David Zak and Christine Zak; brother of the late Joseph Zak Jr., Audrey Homza and Patricia Dever; grandfather of Tyler (Brittany), Jeff (Danica), Lauren, David, Alexis Zak and Justin Barber; great grandfather of Parker, Kyland and Amelia; also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Leroy was a Veteran of the Army and a retired UPS truck driver.  He enjoyed going to his cabin in Pymatuning and was a member of various organizations, including the Mifflin and Sportsman’s clubs.  He was also a crossing guard for the West Mifflin School District for over 20 years.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, on Tuesday, April 28th, from 2-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 29th at 10 AM at St. Rita Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
