Leroy "Lee" "Pops" J. Chesmer

Leroy J. Chesmer, of Munhall, passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of 59 years of Jeannine (McCarthy) Chesmer; loving father of Rebecca Reardon and Brian Chesmer; adoring grandfather of Olivia and Sophia Chesmer and Bridget and Madalyn Reardon; son of the late Thomas E. and Pauline (Rokus) Chesmer; brother of the late Thomas M. Chesmer and Paulette Toth; and uncle of Gregory Toth. 

Lee was a proud Army National Guard veteran and Eagle Scout, and served on the boards of both the Slavs Club, Owls Club, and the Moose Club. He was an avid sports enthusiast who especially enjoyed football, softball and bowling. He was a Munhall #1 Volunteer Firefighter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 4-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 10 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
