Lisa Maddigan Obituary

After a courageous battle with leukemia, Lisa Maddigan, age 64, passed away on March, 29, 2024.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Jack Maddigan, her son Jacob, her daughter Abby, and predeceased by her son Jonathan (2005). Lisa was the daughter of Martha and Michael Cerra, sister of Carla Moss (Robin), and Michelle Fincik and was a dear friend to everyone that came in her path.

Lisa first and foremost was an incredible mother to her children. The four pillars of her life were rooted in family, faith, friendship, and spending time outdoors. She had a passion for fitness, was a spin instructor at Carnegie Library, and was most regularly spotted early walking Main Street rain or shine. Her immeasurable strength, and the amazing nursing team on T7, is what carried her through the battle from West Penn Hospital, to Cleveland Clinic, and finally to MD Anderson Research Clinic in Houston, Texas. Her mantra was to “B+” (her blood type), which she did throughout her entire journey, completely redefining what it meant to be a cancer patient.

Because of her heart of gold and uncanny ability to connect with others, she will be missed by many.

At Lisa’s request there will be no visitation. Services entrusted to the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120.
