Life-long resident of West Homestead, passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 2, 2021, age 89. Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Daniel G. Isaacs, son Dennis (Tina, survived) Isaacs, parents Kenneth and Betty (Schultz) Johnston, brother Kenneth Johnston, and daughter-in-law Maureen (O’Reilly) Isaacs. She is survived by her devoted sons Daniel W. (Sarah) Isaacs and Dane Isaacs as well as her sister Carol Gombos. Lois also leaves behind her grandchildren and great grandchildren Danielle (Mike, and their son Cole) Busowski, Joshua (Alexandra) Isaacs, Jacob (Carly, and their daughters Adelyne, Cicily, and Lyra) Isaacs, and Wayne Isaacs. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, neighbors, and friends. Lois was born in Homestead on January 15, 1932. She was a dedicated homemaker to her husband and three children. Lois was strong in her faith and prayed constantly for all her loved ones’ well-being. She will be greatly missed, but we have comfort knowing she now rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 7th at Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, 12:00 PM at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 1 St. Therese Court, Munhall, 15120. A short blessing service and interment will be held at Calvary Mausoleum. Directly following the services, everyone is invited to the Mifflin Social Club, 4025 Irene Street, West Mifflin, PA 15122 for a luncheon.
