Lorraine M. (Zubkus) Pido

Of Munhall, on August 8, 2023, age 93.  Daughter of the late August and Isabelle Zubkus; beloved wife of 67 years of the late John Pido; loving mother of Lisa (late Armand) Gress and John G. Pido; sister of E. James (Betsy) Zubkus and William Zubkus; proud Gubby of A.J. (fiancé, Hillary) Gress, Jennifer (Mark) Baldwin and the late Adam Gress; great grandmother of Rhett Baldwin.  Lorraine was a very active member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, where she loved volunteering at the fish fry and was a member of the choir.  She enjoyed gardening and taking trips to NYC with her lifelong friends, Helen, Frannie and Millie.  She loved being a “Gubby” to her grandchildren and loved them more than anything.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Thursday from 2-6 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Friday, 10 AM at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Homestead.  In honor of Lorraine, when you see a flower or plant a flower, remember her and her memory will live on through the beautiful flowers which she loved.
