Madelyn Ruth Juba, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Munhall, PA, passed away peacefully, on March 9, 2025, just three months shy of her 96th birthday. She was the beloved daughter of the late Henry C. and Anna K. (Babilon) Yanker and the devoted wife of 34 years, to the late Michael Juba. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert H. Yanker, Sr.
She was a loving mother to Michael (Carol) Juba of Pittsburgh, PA, Mark (Sharon) Juba of Rochester, NY, and Madelyn Anne (Gregory) Mencio of Nashville, TN. She was a cherished grandmother to Katherine, Matthew, Alan, Alyson, Marissa, and Adam; and a beloved great-grandmother to Addilyn, Ramon, Gavin, Leighton, Beckett, Anna Ruth, Harrison, and Henry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth, kindness, and enduring love for family.
A proud graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing in Lawrenceville, PA, Madelyn dedicated her life to caring for others with love and compassion. She lived every day to its fullest and enjoyed reading, gardening, painting, Steelers football, singing, and spending time with family and friends whose lives were enriched in knowing her.
Madelyn, a devout Catholic, was dedicated to her community and friends, as demonstrated through her commitment to the Munhall Central Ladies' Auxiliary, for over 50 years.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Brookdale Belle Meade Assisted Living and Adoration Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 14, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, with prayers of the rosary at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Madelyn's life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 10 AM, at St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment to follow at St. John's Cathedral Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Munhall.
