Formerly of West Mifflin on July 19, 2021, passed at the age of 101.  Daughter of the late Andy and Katherine (Kasanka) Magnes.  Beloved wife of the late Frank Kostovny.  Mother of Edward (Susan) Kostovny of Bethel Park, Raymond (Barbara) Kostovny of Arona and Dolores Zoretich of Jacksonville, FL. Predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters,  Andrew Magnes (Pauline), John Magnes (Mary), Anne Krak (Andy), Mary Fedor (Michael), her twin sister Catherine Jacobs (Bob), Michael Magnes (Kate) and Caroline Magnes.  Also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her goddaughter, Joan Bernesser.  She worked at a Pretzel Factory twisting pretzels and was also a floor lady at Woolworth’s 5 & 10.  Margaret was also employed at Mine Safety Appliances, sewing bandages for 23 years until her retirement in 1982.  Margaret resided in West Mifflin Manor for over 30 years. She served as social director and loved being active and involved with her people.  She lived with her daughter Dolores in Jacksonville for the past two years.  Her biggest joy was visiting her family, playing bingo, her frequent casino trips and going to the beach.  You couldn’t help but love her and she will be sadly missed!  Friends received at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main St., Munhall on Thursday, July 29 from 5 pm until 8 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Cathedral on Friday, July 30 at 10 am.  Interment St. John Cemetery, Munhall.
