Martha L. (Vasko) Sloan

Martha L. (Vasko) Sloan, of Munhall, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the age of 93.  Daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Simko) Vasko.  Beloved wife of 66 years of the late Curtis Sloan.  Mother of Charles (Linda) Sloan of Cleveland, OH,  Andrea Sloan (George Hovanec) of McClean, VA, Curtis (Caroline) Sloan of Frederick, MD and Joann (Martin) Perz of North Huntingdon, PA.  Sister of the late Helen Weis and the late John, Joseph, Andrew, Bernard and Raymond Vasko.  Loving grandma of John, Nathan, Matthew (Katie), Dan (Travis), Jaime, Alison, Curtis (Rachel), Caroline (Eddie), Mechelle, Matthew, Christian, Morgan and the late Timothy.  Great grandmother of Holly, Alice, Emma, Mackenzie, Zoey and Lucy.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Martha was a former Jury Investigator for the Allegheny County Courts and a former Democratic Committee Woman. She was very involved at the Democratic Headquarters in downtown Pittsburgh for many years and was a member of St. Therese Church in Munhall.  Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main St., Munhall on Thursday, June 5 from 10 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 1 PM in St. Therese Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.  Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Pgh.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
