Mary Lynn “Klink” Hudack (Mitrik), 75, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026.
Born to Eleanor Mitrik (Melinchak) and Frank Mitrik, Klink lived a life filled with creativity, compassion, curiosity, and love for the natural world. She found joy in the small wonders around her. She loved art in all forms, especially painting and drawing, and shared her appreciation for beauty with everyone who knew her.
Klink worked as a teacher’s aid at Mifflin Elementary, Greenfield Elementary, and Brookline Pre-K.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured her family deeply. She is survived by her son, Aaron Hudack; her daughter, Elise Clark (Ryan); her beloved granddaughter, Alexa Hudack; and sister, Lucille Holloway. Her love, humor, creativity, and caring spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Klink was a faithful member of St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 26, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, with a Panachida Service at 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 10 AM, at the St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church, Munhall. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Duquesne.
In honor of Klink’s memory, her family hopes those who loved her will take a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature, create something with their hands, and care for one another with gentleness and kindness.
