Mary Magdalene (Foster) Ribic

Mary Magdalene (Foster) Ribic died peacefully in her sleep on August 4, 2024.  Mary was born on September 21, 1930, in Munhall, PA to Andrew and Anna (Balog) Foster.  Mary spent 91 of her almost 94 years in Munhall and lived the last three years of her life in Atlanta, GA.  Prior to moving to Atlanta, Mary lived in the same house on West Marigold in which she was born.  She was married to the late Anthony James Ribic for 54 years until his death in 2014.  She enjoyed many years of bowling, golf, traveling to Wildwood NJ on family vacations and visiting her granddaughters in Atlanta.

Mary is survived by her son, Daniel Anthony Ribic (Kristin Hildebrand Ribic); her granddaughters Alexandra and Anna Kate Ribic; her sister, Olga Henderson; her sister-in-law Marge Boley (Dennis Boley); her brother-in-law David Ribic (Judie Ribic); and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, John Foster, sister, Emily Danscak and sister-in-law Esther Schneck.

Friends will be received by the family Saturday, August 24 from 9:00-11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church at 903 Ann Street, Homestead PA followed by the funeral service at 11 AM.  Interment will immediately follow at the St. Nicholas Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Cemetery, West Mifflin.  Arrangements entrusted to Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall PA.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
