Mary Ann Rose (Ruscak) Posa, of West Mifflin, passed peacefully on Good Friday, April 2, 2021, at the age of 88. She was born in Pittsburgh to the late Joseph and Mary Ruscak. She was the beloved wife of Albert Posa; mother of Beverly (Gary) Harmon and Barbara Warner; grandmother of Tiffany (Eric) Barham, Megan (Rusty) Mokluk, and Michelle (John) Warner; great-grandmother of 8; sister of the late Gilbert, Joseph, and Andrew Ruscak.
Mary Ann worked for many years as a cook on river boats that traveled the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers to New Orleans and always had an interesting story from her travels. She was an avid Steelers fan, puzzle solver and word searcher, and she enjoyed spending time working on her crochet projects. She was a member of Resurrection Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, West Mifflin.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, 11 AM, at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, West Mifflin. Everyone please meet at the cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on July 7th, 2021, time TBA, at the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Resurrection Church, West Mifflin.
