Mary Lou (Riser) Solo

Of Munhall, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the age of 80.  She was the daughter of the late Newt and Sadie (Knorr) Riser.  Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Richard Solo; Mother of Michael (Gerri) Morrow, Thomas Solo, and late Susan Miles,  Daniel (wife, Debbi survives) Morrow and Jalna Solo; Sister of Joanie (John) Black, Jeanie (Bob) Hunter and the late Wayne Riser and John Knorr; Grandmother of Jennifer Morrow, Chris Morrow, and Chelsey Morrow; also survived by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marylou loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and baking, but her true passion was being a caretaker.  She took care of everyone she loved and worked in healthcare for many years. Services are entrusted to the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Marylou’s memory to the American Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis Association or the Animal Rescue League.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
