Obituary

Maureen A. McGeever, of Lincoln Place, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 73. She was the beloved wife of 44 years of the late Rodger T. "Irish" McGeever; mother of Martin (Jessica) McGeever; and sister of Margie Connelly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Anna (Connors) Connelly; and siblings-in-law, Michael (Kathleen survives), Thomas (Kathy survives), Mary, and Patrick (Ann survives) McGeever. She is also survived by a large extended family of cousins, generations of nieces and nephews, and Chicago based in-laws.

Maureen enjoyed gardening, trips to the Casino with her sister, and visiting the Pittsburgh Zoo and Phipps Conservatory. She loved holding her annual summer picnic, which won't be the same without her presence.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 2, 2-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 3, 10 AM, at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Homestead. Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
