Michael James Blazevich

Michael J. Blazevich, of Mercer, formerly of Homestead, PA,  passed away peacefully at his home on February 3, 2025, age 56.  He was the beloved son of Milan and Sharon (O’Hare) Blazevich; father of Justin (Ashley) Bayton and Chelsea (John Sanders) Blazevich; brother of Matthew Blazevich, Meredith (Walter) Schwarz, and MacKenzie (David) Andres; grandfather of Johnathan, Connor, Aubree and Jaxson Bayton and JayR, Gracelynn and Octavia Sanders; godchild of Kathleen O’Hare Maurer; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Thanks to the teaching and guidance he received from his late grandfather, Jim O’Hare, Michael was a gifted mechanic and able to tinker and fix anything. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and working on cars.  “Scooter” Mike was loved by all.  He warmed the hearts of those who met him.  He will be remembered as loyal, giving, and having a true heart of gold.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Saturday February 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A private Blessing Service will be held on Sunday, February 9th, at 2 PM for the immediate family at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com
