Michael "Mickey" Kandra

Michael P. "Mickey" Kandra, of Whitaker, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on July 7, 2024, at the age of 72. He is the son of Norma M. (Barlog) and the late Leo T. Kandra; brother of David (Karen) Kandra, Stacie (John) Popovich, and LeeAnn (Joseph) Ruscak; uncle of Luke (Abby) Popovich, Eve (Corey) Mirt, Catie Ruscak, and Lizzie Ruscak; and great-uncle of Eddy, Bailey, Cecilia "Ceci," Magnolia "Maggie," Alice, and Georgia "Peaches".  Mickey was a Veteran of the Army serving during the Vietnam Era.  He was a fan of WWE and an avid gardener, always proud of his award-winning vegetables.  Mickey had an infectious laugh, loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and their families and having a favorite quote of “Have a nice day!”.  Visitation will be held at SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC. 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM at St. Rita Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.
