Michele J. "Mickey" (Norgren) Fekety

Michele J. "Mickey" Fekety, of West Mifflin, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on May 22, 2026, at the age of 76. 

She was the beloved wife of 58 years of Robert T. Fekety; loving mother of Steven J. (Lisa) Fekety, Robert T. (Allison) Fekety, Jr., and John J. (Janelle) Fekety; adoring grandmother of Steven J. Fekety, Jr., Cameron Fekety, Aurora Gill, Keegan Fekety, Cora Fekety, Gavin Fekety, Leo Fekety, and Lucy Fekety; daughter of the late James H. and Teresa Eleanor (Byrne) Norgren; sister of Terry (the late Russell) Fritz, Nancy "Kim" Norgren, and the late Veronica "Von" Snyir and Patricia (Kim survives) Holland; aunt of Kristy Fritz, Danielle (Adam) Yoest, Rusty Fritz, and generations of other nieces and nephews; also survived by a large extended family. 

Mickey’s world revolved around her grandchildren, and she cherished every precious moment spent with them. A proud graduate of Duquesne High School, she later retired from Allegheny General Hospital, where she worked as an administrative assistant. Mickey was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She found joy in cross-stitching, scrapbooking, and trips to the casino. Christmas was her favorite time of year, a season she celebrated with warmth, love, and devotion to her family.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 2, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, June 3, at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow on Wednesday, June 3, 1:00 PM, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Please meet at the cemetery no later than 12:45 PM.
