Miriam Edna (Theakston) Aleck

Of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2025, age 85.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore D. Aleck Sr., and daughters JoAnn Albright (Charles) and Stephanie Stefanakis (Richard) and one grandson.  She is survived by her children, Theodore D. Aleck Jr (Leslie), David Aleck, and Thomas Aleck (Pamela), her brother, Jack Miller (Darlene), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her dearest and closest friend, Etta Mae Trump.  Miriam worked as a pharmacy technician and auditor for many years.  She loved Sunday dinners with her family and just recently celebrated her 85th birthday.  She enjoyed making floral arrangements, celebrating Halloween, watching her Steelers and Pirates, scratch lottery tickets, trips to the casino and her newfound love for sushi. Miriam will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Friday, February 14th where a Blessing Service will be held at 10 AM followed by an hour of visitation.
