Myra J. (Rogan) Griffin

Myra J. Griffin (Rogan), of West Mifflin, passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 82.  

She was born on July 30, 1940, to the late Martin and Josephine Rogan; she was the beloved wife of 63 years of Francis Regis Griffin of West Mifflin; loving mother of Katherine Becker of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Francis Regis (Andrea) Griffin, Jr. of West Mifflin, and the late Paul Alan Griffin; grandma of Kyle Edward Griffin of Squirrel Hill, and Audra Elizabeth Griffin of West Mifflin.

Myra graduated from McKeesport High School in 1958. Upon graduation, Myra took a position in the Accounting Department with Bettis Atomic Energy Commission, located in West Mifflin. She worked at BAEC until her marriage to Regis and the beginning of their life and family together. She lovingly spent the next 63 years devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Thursday, July 20, 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 21, 10 AM, at St. Agnes Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, West Mifflin.  In lieu of flowers, we humbly ask that you donate to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.act.als.org) in honor of Myra.
