Patricia A. (Walko) Matus

Patricia A. Matus, of Whitaker, was welcomed home by her beloved late husband, Michael R. "Monk" Matus, Jr., on February 13, 2024, at the age of 78.

She was the loving mother of Kristy (Peter) Giglione; adoring grandmother of Addison and Paige Giglione; daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Hajdu) Walko; sister of Beverly "Belle" Kline and Stephanie (David) Armstrong; sister-in-law of John (Maureen) Matus and the late George (Shirley survives) Matus; and aunt of Vicki, Jill, and Harry "Bud" Kline, Tim and Ryan Armstrong, and Shannon (Scott) Takaoka and Matthew Matus. 

Patty was devoted to her family, and deeply loved her grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 1-4 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 19, 11 AM, at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Munhall. Everyone please meet at the Cathedral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the University of Pittsburgh Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Disease.
