Paul E. Martin, Jr.

Paul E. Martin, Jr., of West Mifflin, passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 94.

He was the beloved husband of 47 years of the late Pauline O. (Kasper) Martin; father of Michael S. (Arlene), Robert D. (Patricia), Kathleen M. (Joseph) Orr, Susan A. (Edward) McIntosh, and the late Paul J. (Rhonda survives) Martin; grandfather of Melissa, Paul, Melanie, Erika (John) Giran, Danielle, Sarah, Emily, Edward, and Bella; great-grandfather of Declan and Jackson; son of the late Paul E., Sr., and Josephine (Karadus) Martin; brother of Joseph, John, and Steve Martin, and the late Michael "Mick" and Edward Martin; he is also survived by many loved generations of nieces and nephews.

Paul was an electrical engineer with Westinghouse - Waltz Mill and has several patents and awards relating to a plasma torch. He served in the Army in Germany as a PFC in the Signal Corp during the Korean War. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout and also served as an Assistant Scout Master, and taught Junior Achievement. Paul enjoyed working with his hands; he designed and built the family cottage in Pymatuning. He also enjoyed photography and developing film. He was a longtime member of Resurrection Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and the Homeville Volunteer Fire Company.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 1, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 2, 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, West Mifflin, where he will join his beloved wife, Pauline.
