Paula Elizabeth (Bugos) Poad

Paula E. Poad, of the Lincoln Place neighborhood of Pittsburgh, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 80. She was the loving mother of Tracey (Ralph) Burns; beloved "Gabby" of Megan (Nathan) Heller; great-grandmother of Nolan, Gideon, and Rhett Heller; step-grandmother of Victoria (Matthew) Carrozzi and Vanessa (Christopher) Kelly; step-great-grandmother of Calvin and Eleanor, and Makenna and Baby Boy (due in March); daughter of the late Michael J. and Elizabeth (Bucko) Bugos; sister of the late Michael "Junie" (the late Jean) Bugos, Vincent Bugos, and Shirley (Michael survives) Dindak. The late Edward "Buck" (Donna) Bucko was like a brother to her although he was her uncle. Paula is also survived by generations of nieces and nephews who were very special to her. 

Paula's passion was living her life for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was saved and spread the word of God to everyone she encountered. She was President of the "Birthday Club," organizing all birthday lunches for friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed listening to music with her granddaughter, Megan. She was Megan's number one supporter and cheered her on throughout her life. 

Friends and family are welcomed at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 on Thursday, January 22nd from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Service which will be held at the funeral home at 12 Noon.  In lieu of flowers, taking into consideration for Paula's love of dogs, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Pittsburgh (humaneanimalrescue.org).
