Philip F. Vlasic

Philip F. Vlasic, of Munhall, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 8, 2020, at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to  Shirley (Evans) Vlasic; father of Victor (Yolanda) and Russell Vlasic; grandfather of Yosune, Naiara, Miren, and Soraya Vlasic; son of the late Frank and Cathrine (Ciglar) Vlasic; brother of Margaret Cappiello and the late Frank Vlasic. Philip was an avid classic car enthusiast and was part of the Pittsburgh Race Team in the 1950's. He retired from US Steel after 36 years of service within the Carrie Blast Furnaces. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 11, 5-7 PM and Thursday, November 12, 12-2 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, 15120.
