Priscilla Gerhardt Obituary

Priscilla Gerhardt, of West Mifflin surrounded by her family passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026.  She was the wife of 33 years to the late William R Gerhardt, who passed in 1998.  The oldest of four children born to the late Dorothy (Matey) and John Puhatch, she was a graduate of Munhall High School and worked at the University of Pittsburgh before leaving to stay home and raise her children.  In 1986, she began working at P.J. McEvoy, then Sally Beauty Supply, retiring from the Rankin Christian Center.  She wasn’t deterred from a challenge, along with her lifelong best friend Berny Kupec, they both learned to drive and later in life taking computer classes with her husband.  She enjoyed her cat Murray, watching Hallmark Channel, and talking to her sister Joyce and sister-in-law Mary Sue about life and their favorite soap General Hospital.  She is survived by her children, Diane of Burgettstown and Bill of West Mifflin. Sister of the late John (the late Mary Sue) Puhatch and her surviving siblings, brother Ken (Darlene “Cookie”) Puhatch, of Altoona, and sister Joyce (Larry) Cuban of Ashtabula, Ohio. Also survived by her grand fur babies, Axel, Misty, and Zeus and the late Mason, as well as many nieces and nephews.
