Ralph Randolph Gurley Jr.

Ralph Randolph Gurley Jr. on April 9, 2025 age 91. Formerly of West Mifflin and Grove City. Ralph was the only child of the late Ralph R. Gurley Sr. and Eleanor (John) Gurley. Ralph Jr. never married. He is survived by a cousin, Catherine Daily of Warren, Ohio.

Ralph graduated from Grove City College in 1955 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the Westinghouse Electric Company and worked at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory for 44 years on the design of naval nuclear power plants and high pressure test loops.

As an amateur photographer he was active in the Natural Color Camera Club and the Photographic Section of the Academy of Science and Art. He was a member of the First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh and was active in the Forum Group in that church. There will be no viewing or memorial service. Internment will be private.
