Richard B. Hrinda

Richard B. Hrinda, of Whitaker, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025. He was the loving husband for 56 years of the late Dolores Ann “Dolly” (Macuga) Hrinda; the father of Lorraine (James) Clark, Yvonne Hrinda, Charlotte (Hugo) Belanger, and Marsha (Gary) Galiyas; the brother of the late Beverly Joyce, the late Joanie Meisner, and the late Michael Hrinda; loving pap of James, Joshua, Kyley, Gary, Logan, and Angelina; and the loving great-grandfather of Amelia; he was the son of the late Michael and Helen (Mitchak) Hrinda.

Richard worked as a Brakeman on the Union Railroad and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed woodworking, going to the casino, gardening, and watching Westerns. He was a member of the VFW Post 6673 in Whitaker and a member of the Zinzi Club. More than anything, Richard cherished spending time with his family and reminiscing about the past.

Friends and family to be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, 15120, on November 21, 2025 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM. A Blessing Service will be held later that evening at 7:30 PM.
