Richard P. Sauerwein

Richard P. "Rich" Sauerwein, of Munhall, passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 79.

He was the beloved husband of 53 years of Linda (Speicher) Sauerwein; loving father of Shani (John) Andzelik and Kara (Steve Wisniewski) Sauerwein; adoring Pappy of Vivian; son of the late Harry and Cleo (Firle) Sauerwein; brother of Karen Horvath and the late Beatrice Huwe, Carol Ribar, Donald Sauerwein, and Alan Sauerwein; also survived by generation of nieces and nephews. 

Rich proudly served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Hays Moose Lodge. 

Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 20, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association.
