Richard Thomas "Rick" Martin

Richard Thomas "Rick" Martin, a lifelong resident of Munhall, PA, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 59. He was the proud father of Sydnie and Marcus Martin with their mother, Karen Peterson; son of the late Francis G. “Moe” Martin and the late Constance J. “Connie” (Stitsel) Popoleo; brother of Robert Martin, Melissa Haverty, and the late John Martin; and close friend of Karen Diggans.

After 20 years of hard work, Rick retired as a Correctional Officer from the Allegheny County Bureau of Corrections. He was a man of few words; however, he sure knew how to make you laugh. Rick enjoyed sharing silly stories from his younger days and reminiscing of the times he spent watching his children, Sydnie and Marcus, play the sports they love. Rick will be missed but never forgotten.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date for friends and family to commemorate the memory of Rick Martin.
