Richard J. "Stan" Stanicar

Richard J. "Stan" Stanicar, of West Mifflin, passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 59. He was the father of Joseph (Carissa), David, and Jason Stanicar; son of Vincent and the late Mary Alice (Klonowski) Stanicar; and brother of Virginia Pelikan, John Stanicar, and Theresa Willitts.

Stan worked as a heavy equipment operator for Plavchak Contruction Company, and was a previous owner and operator of the JJ&D Tree Service. He was a member of the Local 66 Operating Engineers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 15, 10 AM, at St. Agnes Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, West Mifflin. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at noon, following the Mass, at the West Mifflin # 4 Skyview Volunteer Fire Hall.
