Richard "Rick" Betz

Richard “Rick” Betz, age 59, of Munhall, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 23, 2021.  He was predeceased by his father, James Betz, and is survived by his mother, Irene Betz; sister, Janet Kunkel; nephew, Ryan Kunkel; and numerous cousins and friends. Rick was a graduate of Steel Valley High School and a man of many interests, but his two passions were photography and jewelry design.  He also loved hats, especially Panamas, and wore one wherever he went.  Funeral arrangements are under the care of Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home in Munhall. A Blessing Service will be at held at 12 noon on Friday, April 30, at the funeral home with Fr. Thomas Wagner officiating.  Due to COVID restrictions, we ask that you wear masks and practice social distancing when gathering with the family.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions may be made in Rick’s name to the funeral home to help defray expenses.  Rick, we love and will miss you, and you were gone far too soon.
