Robert J. Ballas

Robert J. Ballas, of Munhall, passed away at his residence on April 27, 2025 at the age of 83.  Beloved husband of Joan (Mackey) Ballas.  Father of Dayna (Andrew) Seitz.  Loving pappy of Katherine and Jack.  Brother of Audrey (late Gene) Kamensky, Dorothy (late Jim) O'Malley and Joseph (Susan) Ballas.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary (Tutko) Ballas.  Bob was a veteran of the Air Force serving during the Vietnam Era.  He was a former supervisor at Nabisco and a former employee of Fagan Sanitary Supply and Comfort Keepers.  He was also a former member of the Owls Club.  Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams.  He will always be remembered for his outgoing and friendly personality and will be dearly missed.  A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, May 2 at 10:30 AM in St. Therese Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.  Inurnment will place place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
