Roberta (Curl) Holieb

 Roberta  “Bobbie”(Curl) Holieb, age 68,  passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 28, 2024, with her loving husband of 41 years Ken Holieb and her son Brandon at her side.

Bobbie was the youngest daughter of the late Matthew and Johanna (Velocik) Curl and the sister of the late David Curl. She is survived by her sister Mary (Michael) Russell, her sister-in-law Diane Curl, nephews Nick and Michael Curl, great nephews, and cousins.

Bobbie was a graduate of one of the first classes at Steel Valley High School in Munhall.  She worked for many years at AT&T and later as a caterer.

She was a devoted wife, mother, care giver, and homemaker.  Her first priority was always taking care of her family.  In addition to her husband and son, she cared for her father and her mother-in-law and father-in-law as they aged.

She was a great cook and enjoyed working in her garden. Throughout the year she enjoyed decorating her home for the seasons and holidays and working on numerous home projects like painting, updating and refinishing furniture. She embraced her Pittsburgh heritage and loved her hometown.

Her dogs kept her busy and were a source of comfort and joy for her.

In addition to her family, she will be missed by many friends and neighbors who loved and will always remember her.
