Rocco A. Panaiia

Rocco A. Panaiia, of West Homestead, was welcomed home by his beloved late wife of 53 years, Claudia J. "Kay" (Sabocik) Panaiia, on July 3, 2023, at the age of 86. He is survived by his son, Anthony (Christine) Panaiia; and granddaughters, Madelyn and Emily Panaiia. He was preceded in death by parents, Rocco and Antoinette Panaiia; and siblings, Eleanor Tartler, Julie Brandeburg, and Joseph Panaiia. 

Rocco was a Track Manager with US Steel, and proudly served in the US Army. He was a lifelong, avid Steelers fan.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 6, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 7, 10 AM. Rocco will join his wife, Kay, at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
