Ronald James Sklencar

Ronald J. Sklencar, of Munhall, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 22, 2024, at the age of 73.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Mary Jo (Schlaich) Sklencar; children, Michael (Margaret), Jessica (Zane) Snyder, Robert (Samantha), and Joseph Sklencar; grandchildren, Marissa and Cassandra Sklencar, and Nora and Kyro Sklencar; and sister, Dorothy Yankel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anna (Fenus) Sklencar; and brother, Albert Sklencar.

Ron enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to the gym, and yearly family vacations. He was a retired CORE lab supervisor at Allegheny General Hospital.

Family and friends will be held Sunday, February 25, 2-4 & 6-8 PM & Monday, February 26, 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 10 AM, at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Homestead.
