Susan (Olexa) Goda

Susan Goda, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2023, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late John Goda; and parents, Michael and Susan (Senyitko) Olexa. She is survived by her children, Richard (Patty) Goda and Bernadette (Larry) Speer, along with their families; and sister, Elizabeth (Joseph).

Susan was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Cathedral, where she loved working during special events at the Cathedral's Center. In her younger years, she worked at Forbes Field and Reimers Candy Factory. She loved to play BINGO and looked forward to outings at the casino. 

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 8, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, where a Panachida Service will take place at 3:45 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 10 AM, at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Cathedral, Munhall. Entombment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
