Theodore W. "Ted" Olesnevich

Theodore W. "Ted" Olesnevich, of West Homestead, was warmly welcomed home by his beloved late wife, Bonnie H. (Patterson) Olesnevich, on July 3, 2026, at the age of 82.

He was the loving father of Denise (Daniel) Barrett, Jon (Sandy) Olesnevich, Michael (Tracy) Olesnevich, and the late Craig (Jill survives) Olesnevich; adoring grandfather of Brooke, Sarah, Erin, Rachel, Morgan, Meghan, Colin, Bethany, and Brooke; great-grandfather of 4; son of the late John and Antonine (Lizik) Olesnevich; brother of the late Rita Jardine and Lucia Chamberlain; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Ted was an avid golfer and bowler, but most enjoyed spending time with his family and loved traveling with his wife. He was a US Air Force veteran, and retired from US Steel as a metallurgical technician.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 8, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 9, 10 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
